• Construction of 77,000m2 of single apex warehouse space to be used as a Distribution Centre

• MCCL engaged through competitive tender

Construction                        

• Enabling works included Lime and Cement stabilisation across the all warehouse, yard and right of ways

• Steltech steel portal frame to warehouse

• Post tensioned concrete warehouse slabs with ‘Ryno Joint’ to mitigate slab curl

• Longrun metal roofing and wall cladding - 70m Sheets rolled directly onto the roof

• Low height precast panel to warehouse with precast docking stations for loading/unloading

• Designed to avoid the requirement of box gutter - Resulted in 16m Apex

• Fully sprinklered building (warehouse, office, canopies) - Uplifted warehouse sprinkers to mitigate need for 20,000m2 suspended ceiling

• Feature Frontline Altus aluminium windows, framed and supported with heavy steel plate

• Heavy duty concrete yards and ROW

• Complex unground services in combined service trench with full GIS survey asbuilts

• Plant rooms and transformers to accommodate construction of 9000m2 office (separate contract)
