Project description

• Construction of 13 high-end apartments on the corner of Manukau Road and Raurenga Avenue in Royal Oak. This apartment building comprised a single level basement with a 4 level structure above. A number of nominated subcontractors were accommodated in the project, having been procured through the client directly

Construction                        

• Basement excavation in rock, utilising differing rock breaking and fracking techniques

• Precast retaining walls to basement

• Structural steel frame with intumescent coatings where required for fire rating

• Insitu concrete core for single lift and precast stairs

• Rib and tile floor system + precast flatslab

• EZ Panel aerated concrete cladding with powdercoated aluminium windows

• Drainage way by way of soakage holes and connection to existing infrastructure

• Internal spaces conditioned with A/C split units

• Tiled bathrooms with warmup heated floor system integrated with shower waterproofing
