This was a staged development to ensure carparking, conference and office space was not compromised during the construction. The result is a very high quality office space, with adjoining conference center, serviced by a 5 level carpark and café. MCCL contracted on an open-book ECI procurement model.
Construction Details
The carpark was largely steel frame construction, with speedfloor flooring system. Precast panels with webforge and mesh screening to the elevations, with a timber and aluminium louvre feature screen
The conference centre development was constructed utilising the existing steel portal frame, the conference rooms were suspended on a rib and infill system over the carparking on ground floor. The internal space was acoustically rated and ceiling feature of triton acoustic panelling
The new four level office is accessed by a single lift separated by varying walkways on each level, with an external webforge staircase. An internal staircase to core of building serves all floors
