Construction of 77,000m2 of single apex warehouse space to be used as a Distribution Centre. MCCL engaged through competitive tender

Construction Details

  • Enabling works included Lime and Cement stabilisation across the all warehouse, yard and rights-of-way


  • Steltech steel portal frame to warehouse


  • Post-tensioned concrete warehouse slabs with ‘Rhino Joint’ to mitigate slab curl


  • Long-run metal roofing and wall cladding - 70m Sheets rolled directly onto the roof


  • Low-height precast panel to warehouse with precast docking stations for loading/unloading


  • Designed to avoid the requirement of box gutter - resulting in 16m Apex


  • Fully-sprinklered building (warehouse, office, canopies). Uplifted warehouse sprinkers to mitigate need for 20,000m2 suspended ceiling


  • Feature Frontline Altus aluminium windows, framed and supported with heavy steel plate


  • Heavy-duty concrete yards and right-of-way


  • Complex unground services in combined service trench with full GIS survey as-builts


  • Plant rooms and transformers to accommodate construction of a 9000m2 office (separate contract)
