Construction of a prominent 4 level office building on Highbrook Drive. Consisting of 3600m2 of office space with a basement carpark and paved podium married into the wider crossings development. MCCL was engaged on a Design and Build basis.
Construction Details
The building is founded on 46no. 20m long steel piles, with 900dia reinforced concrete bored piers below the core
Constructed of a concrete frame building with a double T flooring system
The precast panels along Highbrook Drive were ‘whitened’ with white oxide to lighten the appearance. Black oxide was added to the East and West elevations along with partial honing and exposed aggregate for effect
The core contains two vertical lifts and a stairwell providing access between floors
The lower level carpark is screened with perforated mesh to provide architectural effect and meet ventilation requirements for vehicles
